Grocery List for ‘2 Week SALAD A DAY CHALLENGE”

Sorry this list hasn’t come to you sooner. We have been without internet service at home for a whole week as of today! (I upgraded our internet service so it would be faster and here I am now without it entirely…go figure!). As many of you know, when I am at the clinic/studio I am tied up with clients so most of this kind of work I do from home. It’s events like this that really drive home how completely reliant we are on the internet in today’s society.

With this in mind I’ve decided to push the official start date of our challenge to tomorrow: Tuesday, February 15th.

Here is most of what you will need in the days to come for your 2 week Salad a Day Challenge:

  • Romaine lettuce
  • Spring mix
  • Baby spinach
  • Chopped walnuts
  • Chopped pecans
  • Slivered almonds
  • Red wine vinegar
  • White vinegar
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Sweet peppers
  • Can mixed beans
  • Yellow wax beans
  • Green wax beans
  • Frozen corn
  • Red onion
  • Beets
  • Feta
  • Plum and/or cherry tomatoes
  • cucumber
  • Chicken (that will be grilled)
  • Tuna
  • Goat’s cheese
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Free-range eggs
  • Apples
  • Pears
  • Honey
  • Dijon Mustard
  • Garlic
  • pepper and various other spices
