Yogurt Berry Blast Smoothie Recipe


Option 1: For Increased Energy

1 scoop of Vega Bodacious Berry Smoothie Powder

8 oz of skim milk, rice milk or almond milk

1 cup of mixed fresh or frozen berries (raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, etc.)

1 small container of lowfat, low sugar vanilla yogurt

Option 2: For Increased Protein and/or Post-Workout

As above but subsitute a high quality vanilla or strawberry protein powder for Vega Powder


Smoothies can be a fantastic option to ensure that you are getting a complete meal or snack when on the go or rushed for time. Option 1 makes a great breakfast or morning snack substitute and Option 2 as noted is great for post-workout recovery.

  1. Instead of protein powder, use boxed eggwhites. Pasteurized and safe, and only 30 cal per 7g protein
